As a result of the cooperation within the Centre of Expertise between YMoS and World Water Academy, the concept of a dedicated water academy based on vocational training for South Africa was explored.
This would enable the development of a tailored curriculum to support the ‘Training of Trainers’ by water professionals for professionals ‘in house’ at the Water Services Authorities.
With support of the Water & Sanitation departments of the 3 metro’s Johannesburg, Durban and Cape Town, this led to the establishment of Aquadactics NPC in 2015.
