YMoS was part of the team which was at the birth of the Centre of Expertise concept, together with Vitens Evides International, World Waternet, and World Water academy.
Part of the kick off was a strategy session with key personnel of eThekwini W&S, and key Dutch public stakeholders in the Netherlands in February 2011.
The Centre of Expertise concept was officially launched at 2012 WISA conference in Cape Town by the Dutch Ambassador and the Head of Water & Sanitation of eThekwini, Mr. Neil Macleod.
