SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY DEBENTURES was a recognized and registered Non-Profit Organisation which solely facilitated corporate funding to contribute to society via Corporate Social Investment, Socio-Economic Development and Enterprise Development mechanisms through the issuing of “Social Responsibility Debenture Certificates”.

The Social Responsibility Debentures concept was launched in 2012 and the first of its kind in the world, developed through 18 months of intense investigations into Corporate Social Investment, Social Economic Development and Enterprise Development mechanisms as well as Empowerment Initiatives, Youth Education and Sports and Recreation Development in South Africa.
With BBBEE expertise, YMoS was its founding partner and helped Debentures developing the concept, and operationally through its startup phase.
The key focus of Debentures was EDUCATION and as such provide Talented Underprivileged Individuals the essential Life Skills.
The developed vision was to establish a sustainable platform for young, highly talented, but unfortunately disadvantaged individuals to excel and become fully integrated leaders of their communities and society as a whole, by providing corporate funded support for tailored education and life cycle opportunities.
The Social Responsibility Debentures concept made a massive impression on key corporate market leaders, sporting codes and most importantly key education institutions.
The concept was originally approved in 2012 and endorsed by the Department of Sports and Recreation, Oregan Hoskins the President of the South African Rugby Union, several Provincial Rugby Unions including The Sharks, tertiary education institutions and a host of highly-reputed schools such as DHS and Maritzburg College.
